Play With Friends — One Link, Straight Into the Lobby
The fastest way to get a group into the same Boomber match is an invite link: create a room, copy the link, send it however you already talk to your friends, and anyone who opens it lands directly in your lobby.
How it works
- From the menu, choose Play Online, enter a nickname, and Create room.
- In the lobby, click Copy invite link next to your room code. This copies a link, not just the bare code.
- Send that link to whoever you want in the match.
- Anyone who opens it is taken straight to Boomber and, after a one-time nickname prompt if they haven't set one before, joins your room automatically — no separate step of finding "Join" and typing a code by hand.
A plain room code still works too, if you'd rather read a code out loud than send a link — both paths land in the same lobby.
What happens if the room's full, ended, or mid-round
An invite link only gets someone as far as the room actually allows:
- If a round is already underway, whoever opens the link sees a short waiting screen and joins automatically once the round ends, rather than being turned away.
- If the room no longer exists (the host closed it or it timed out), the link shows a clear message instead of silently failing.
- If someone reopens the same link after a brief connection drop, they rejoin their own seat rather than starting over as a new player.
Once everyone's in
The lobby shows every connected player, their color, and their ready status. The host sets round length, wins target, the map theme (or a custom map), and whether empty seats fill with bots. No accounts needed
Nobody needs to sign up for anything — a nickname is all it takes to join, and it's remembered locally so you're not retyping it every time you open an invite link.
